Story of An Artist
I am Tasha. Widowed mom to two wonderful children who I often refer to as my helpers. My husband was KIA in 2011 and since then I have found my passion and calling using art as a path to my own healing and hoping to inspire others to do the same. I create monoprint papers with acrylic paint, then rip or cut them up, and finally create something new with the pieces that some would see as destroyed. It is my goal that through this process other people who have experienced trauma will be inspired to create something new in their life. I also teach workshops incorporating this technique and my other love, watercolor. Finally, I have also become a CZT (certified Zentangle teacher) and teach weekly classes sharing this method with others. There are lots of ways to experience art with me!
