Zentangle - Tues evening weekly class

This class will provide a beginner or advanced artist with continuing education in the Zentangle method. Students are required to have completed the Intro to Zentangle class with me before registering for this ongoing series. Students will be immersed in creating actual Zentangle tiles and will leave with a clear understanding that, “Anything is possible one stroke at a time.”® We will learn new patterns every week and complete tiles and other projects along the way.

This class operates on a punch card system, the $150 registration fee is for 10 classes you attend at your leisure. In person classes include instruction and materials, but students may supply their own materials. Zentangle kits are available for $10 (includes micron pen, pencil, tortillion, 5 zentangle tiles, and a small journal), packs of 12 zentangle tiles are also available for $5.

Suggested materials list: multiple black permanent drawing pens (I prefer micron 01 or PN), one pencil, one tortillion (for blending the pencil), white Zentangle tiles (the 3.5x3.5" paper we draw on) or bristol paper, and scrap paper to keep notes or practice patterns. Or you may prefer working in a journal, tiles are not required.
